Mobile Medical Teams
Complement and improve the local health care offer
In an effort to restore patient confidence in certain health care facilities that are often underestimated, particularly in Africa, and to reduce costs compared to an operation performed abroad, we have developed a mobile medical team offer that complements and improves the health care available locally.
We enable medical teams to travel abroad for a defined period of time to perform advanced medical procedures in partner establishments, working in tandem with local doctors.
By organizing, coordinating and optimizing the travel of a medical team abroad, we allow :
- Patients can benefit from high quality treatments in the comfort of their daily environment (compared to care abroad).
- The medical teams of the partner establishment benefit from a transfer of skills and the development of local expertise.
- It is up to insurance companies, mutual insurance companies, companies and patients to reduce their costs in order to have access to quality local care.
A controlled process
1. Selection of pathologies
In collaboration with the partner health care institution, we evaluate the local needs and the feasibility of an intervention by a mobile medical team. We then select the target pathologies and specialties that are deemed to be priorities.
2. The constitution of the ideal medical team
We mobilize our network of partners, depending on the pathology, in order to have the best experts available to intervene in tandem with the doctors of the partner healthcare establishment. We involve medical teams from the best medical facilities (Institut Mutualiste Montsouris, Hôpital Foch, Pitié Salpêtrière, etc.) with extensive international experience, particularly in Africa.
3. The choice of adapted equipment
The medical team preparing for a trip abroad sends the partner establishment a list of technical requirements for intervention (e.g. operating theatres), and completes the offer with its own equipment when necessary.
4. Patient selection
The medical team at the partnering facility evaluates the medical records and selects eligible patients for the procedures.
5. Successful collaborative surgeries
The medical team travels abroad for a predefined period of time to intervene in the partner care facility. Meetings between the two teams and consultations with the patients beforehand allow for successful preparation of the interventions.
